Voiding transactions for:

  1. Arthur only users
  2. Arthur Bank feed and Xero users

Arthur only users

You can only void a transactions that is not allocated and 'paid', it will have to be fully outstanding for you to be able to void. To void  tenant transactions  > click on the dropdown next to the transaction > void

If the transaction is 'paid'/allocated

If the transaction is paid/allocated you would first have to unallocate the payment, where it will then become fully outstanding. You can then void it as showed above

Arthur Bank feed and Xero users

Similarly you can only void a transactions that is not allocated and 'paid', it will have to be fully outstanding for you to be able to void. To void  tenant transactions  > click on the dropdown next to the transaction > void

If the transaction is 'paid'/allocated

If the transaction is paid/allocated you would first have to un-allocate the payment, as a user of the bank feed un-allocate the tenant payment as showed below from financials > bank accounts > bank statements. Then un-allocate it and void.

If you are a xero user, un-allocate the payment on xero as showed in the article, the sync will then automatically remove and void the payment in arthur. You can then void the transaction from the dropdown.

Remitted Transactions

Transactions that are associated with a remittance, ie. a property owner remittance and contractor remittance cannot be voided. The Remittance will need to be voided first before you can void any transaction associated with it. See this article to learn how to void property owner remittance transactions
