Bank accounts must be created on Arthur BEFORE any transactions are added on the system.
- Rent account
- Deposit accounts
- Other accounts for income transfer
Having bank details set up correctly ensure;
- Tenants have the correct information on their screen as to where the rent/deposit is paid
- Payments/remittances to landlords and contractors would be requires to be pad from a bank account
Step 1 – Setting up bank account:
Go within the Financials tab -> bank accounts -> then click on the top right ‘Add bank account’.
Add in your bank account details, at the bottom of the page set the bank account that you have added as your default client account. Your default client account is the bank all your tenants pay their rent into. Follow the same process for your deposit bank account if it is different. If deposits are paid into the same bank account then you can tick both boxes below.
