This article is linked to understanding workorders  and understanding automated triggers and actions

There are two scenarios

  1. The contractor won't use the app or email
  2. The contractor won`t use the app but will work with email

The contractor won't use the app or Email

Accept the workorder on behalf of the contractor>Go to workorder>contractor>assign

Complete the workorder on behalf of the contractor and set it to completed

The contractor won't use the app but will work with email

This involves setting up the automated emails that include details of the jobs and details of the tenants for access. These emails can be built in any of the three areas below.

  1. Contractor invited to workorder will allow the contractor to accept or reject the job and can provide as much information as required example Tenants in occupation
  2. Workorder accepted by Contractor to quote will allow for the email to include further details on the job including for example Tenants in occupation
  3. Workorder assigned to contractor will allow for the email to include further details on the job including for example Tenants in occupation and the ability to complete the job on the email

Within the automated area, you will see the 3 triggers

The contractor invited to workorder has to option to accept or reject and add related tenants details if the account holder wants to apply them at this point. This is done when creating the action and using the variable related tenants. The tenant's details displayed will depend on whether the relationship is to the

  • Property - All tenants in the property
  • Unit - Tenants in the unit
  • Tenancy - Tenants on the tenancy

Workorder assigned to the contractor can complete and still turndown
