With regard, shared accommodation each portal has its own unique requirements that will need to be adhered to and which are explained below. The unit type list that's on offer is restricted to what the portals accept, which is why it is a different list to that on offer when creating properties and units. 1. Setting up your adverts for single let houses and flats
Step 1 - Add images unit>summary>add images
When adding an image for Certificates do not add as a PDF, it needs to be an image file for the portals to accept it.
Step 2 - Add unit information unit>unit information. Fill in all the information. Anything with an "asterisk" is the minimum requirement.

Step 1 - Add images unit>summary>add images

Step 2 - Add unit information unit>unit information. Each of the portals deals with shared accommodation differently: a) Zoopla Two important fields for posting shared accommodation include:
- ‘Total sharing Tenancies’ - this field is used by Zoopla to display the total number of bedrooms within the shared accommodation.
- ‘Bedrooms Available’ - this field is used by Zoopla to display how many bedrooms are available to let.
b) Rightmove
- ‘Total Sharing Tenancies’ - this field is used by Rightmove to display shared accommodation. However, Rightmove doesn’t accept any information about how many ‘Total Sharing Tenancies’ there are, so it could be 2 or 10.
- ‘Bedrooms Available’ - this field is used by Rightmove to display how many bedrooms are available to let.
c) StuRents Two important fields for posting shared accommodation include:
- ‘Total Sharing Tenancies’ - this field is used by StuRents to display the total number of bedrooms within the shared accommodation.
- ‘Bedrooms Available’ - this field is used by StuRents to display how many bedrooms are available to let.
