1. What is an applicant

An applicant is in contact with details about themselves


2. How applicants get into Arthur

Applicants arrive in a variety of ways:

  1. Manually added
  2. Webform scenario 1 below
  3. Via a portal
  4. Via a client website

3. How to set up alternate applicant status


This feature for Enterprise only allows large clients to apply for their own statuses alongside or in replacement of the default ones. The default ones provided include:

  1. Active
  2. Inactive
  3. Tenants


Add an applicant status To add an applicant status, go to Prefrences>applicants. Here you will be able to add your own status' which acts as useful filters.

Applicants that arrive via a portal come in as applicant and an enquired viewing in the viewings area Applicants that arrive via any other means simply creates an applicant

7. How to create an applicant manually from within Arthur


Within applicants>add applicant

8. How to use 'scenario 2' webform

When converting your applicant record into a tenant record on a tenancy, you can use the automated events area to trigger an email to the tenant that includes a link to the 'scenario 2' webform.  This is linked to how to use webforms to onboard your tenants  

9. Can you credit check an applicant?

Yes via our integration to call credit. This is linked to how to carry out a credit check This integration produces an immediate credit report helping gauge the tenants likelihood of fulfilling rental commitments.


    


10. Converting an applicant into a  tenancy

Option 1: Go into Applicants > Add Tenancy:


 

Option 2: Add tenancy>page 3>Add existing applicant (pulls in the applicant into the tenancy)

      

11. How to convert an applicant in viewing into a tenant on a tenancy

Go to viewings>add tenancy
